Quality Wool’s Geoff Clark and Glen Forbes chat with Western Australian grower Bruce Howatson, who was happy with prices for prem shorn wool sold at a recent Melbourne auction through Quality Wool.

Quality Wool’s emergence as one of the largest, independent, locally-owned and operated companies in the wool industry following its acquisition of Western Wool Marketing earlier this year was reinforced at the recent Australian Sheep and Wool Show at Bendigo.

The company’s bright, bold display was a beacon among other wool industry exhibitors and it welcomed a steady stream of clients and growers alike not only locally from Victoria, but also from New South Wales and as far away as Western Australia.

The recent positivity in the wool market, particularly for shorter, good strength wools, was a constant topic among the discussions with growers.

We would like to thank all clients and fellow growers for visiting our site at the show and catching up for a good chat.

Quality Wool is continuing to grow and our team is enjoying building strong relationships with growers. We look forward to strengthening our support of growers’ businesses under our newly expanded banner.
