Quality Wool supporting SA's top shearers

QUALITY Wool was a proud major sponsor of the South Australian State Shearing Championships at the 2011 Adelaide Royal Show, where nine shearers pitted their skills against each other.

Two times world champion Shannon Warnest, of Willalooka, took the honours in the event, with Justin Dolphin, of Naracoorte, second and Nathan Meaney, of Freeling, in third place.

The shearers were judged according to the fastest times, highest quality and finished presentation.

Shannon achieved a score of 187.32, with Justin on 203.40 and Nathan on 205.38.

Shannon and Justin will now represent SA at the National Shearing Championships to be held at the Perth Royal Show, while Nathan also has earned a wild card to the event.
