Quality Wool Jamestown store gears-up for 2010

THE Quality Wool store at Jamestown continues to attract increasing support from growers and is gearing-up for another big year in 2010.

The store is in its third year of operations and the company's local marketing representative, Simon Seppelt, said wool deliveries to the site had exceeded expectations.

Last year deliveries to the store by surrounding growers grew by about 50 per cent.

Simon said wool had come from as far as Hawker and up to Copley, out to Port Pirie and down to Clare and Eudunda, as well as over to Waikerie.

"Some people have sold their entire wool clips here and others have used the store for their oddments," he said.

Quality Wool Jamestown offers cash for wool delivered to the depot and assists growers with their wool marketing through to the company's major stores in Adelaide and Victoria.

It is open Thursdays and Fridays from 8.30am-4pm every week of the year, or by appointment, and growers are assisted by Simon together with the company's David Kelly.

The Quality Wool Jamestown depot is located on the Booleroo Centre Road.

To arrange deliveries to the store, growers can contact Simon Seppelt on 0408 707 907 or David Kelly on 0408 085 042.
