AFTER the success of Quality Wool’s Bred Well Fed Well workshops across South Australia and New South Wales earlier this year, the ensuing Lifetime Ewe Management Program is set to kick off in SA later this month.

Over 20 participants are confirmed to take part in the program having initially registered their interest during their Bred Well Fed Well course, and will be divided into four geographical groups – Melrose, Jamestown, Waikerie and Adelaide Hills.

The first workshops are being held between the 20th and 29th of September in the following regions:

  • Melrose – Wednesday, 20th September

  • Jamestown – Thursday, 20th September

  • Waikerie – Thursday, 28th September

  • Adelaide Hills – Friday, 29th September

Lifetime Ewe Management is a nationally accredited course involving groups of five producers and six ‘hands‑on’ sessions over 12 months, providing producers with skills to improve their flock’s reproductive performance and optimise ewe stocking rates.

The program will be facilitated by Dr. Colin Trengove from the University of Adelaide’s School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences. You can read more about Dr. Trengove here: http://bit.ly/2wZtTXl
